This highly concentrated powder completely neutralizes ammonia, chlorine and chloramines from fresh and salt water without the use of sodium thiosulfate. It is nontoxic to fish and invertebrates. Does not affect Dissolved Oxygen levels in water.
Use only Salicylate ammonia test kits.
One dose will remove 1mg per liter or 1 ppm of ammonia (as NH3) 3.2ppm chloramines, 2.1 ppm chlorine. Dosage can be increased or repeated as needed without adverse effects.
Dosage rate: 1 oz. per 235 gallons of water removes 1 mg/L of total ammonia. A 10-lb box treats 37,498 gallons.
